We offer a broad range of pediatric services, from prenatal visits to clinical care for
patients up to 21 years of age. Kids First Pediatrics offers flexible scheduling for well visits,
illness visits and consultations regarding school and developmental issues.
Kids First Pediatrics adheres to the suggested schedule guidelines
for well child care as outlined by the American
Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).
Kids First Pediatrics recommends the following well-visits:
- Within the first week of life.
- 1 month of age
- 2 months of age
- 4 months of age
- 6 months of age
- 9 months of age
- 12 months of age
- 15 months of age
- 18 months of age
- 24 months of age
- 30 months of age

- Every year of age
Please note that while we believe a well visit at 30 months of age
is appropriate, unfortunately more and more health care insurers no
longer pay for this visit. Please check with your health care insurer
about your specific plan and benefits PRIOR to scheduling this appointment.*
Kids First Pediatrics is proud to be enrolled in the North Carolina
Universal Childhood Vaccine Program. We believe that childhood immunizations
are a wonderful example of how preventive care has benefited the health
and welfare of our children. In addition, Kids First Pediatrics is equipped
to perform basic laboratory tests on site (e.g., Rapid Strep, anemia
tests).
Kids First Pediatrics adheres to the suggested schedule guidelines
